EU’s Democractic Conditionality: Democratic Principles and Procedures?

Abstract This article aims at explaining the changes in democratic conditionality of European Union over time from institutional contexts domestic and regional levels. The comparison milestones regard enlargements that happened between 1993 2014. Variations on dependent variable are analysed light principles procedures concept polyarchy (Dahl 1989). analysis demonstrates explains EU has changed time, becoming more complete with pluralist when applied to enlargements. It also highlights relation deficit by incorporation institutions.
